Passenger helps users prepare for travel, including jet lag planning, packing support, trip reminders, and related travel-prep features. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have.

In this policy, “Passenger,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Passenger, a brand of Noet AI.

1. Data We Collect

We collect only the data we need to provide and improve Passenger.

Data you provide directly

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, and sign-in details.
  • If you use Sign in with Apple, we may receive your Apple account name and email address, including an Apple relay email if you choose to hide your email.
  • Trip information, such as destinations, travel dates, flight or itinerary details, time zones, and travel-prep preferences.
  • Content you create in the app, such as checklists, notes, reminder settings, and notification preferences.
  • Subscription status and purchase-related information needed to manage paid access.
  • Messages you send us for support.

Data collected automatically

  • Basic app activity and usage information, such as feature usage, screens viewed, and interactions inside the app.
  • Technical and diagnostic information, such as app version, device type, operating system, crash logs, and error reports.
  • Push notification tokens needed to send functional app notifications.

We do not currently collect precise location data, approximate location data, advertising identifiers, health data, sleep data, passport data, contacts, photos, or calendar data.

If we add features in the future that use data such as sleep data or location, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, ask for your permission before collecting that data.

2. How We Use Data

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Provide Passenger’s core features, including travel prep, trip organization, reminder timing, and jet lag planning.
  • Send functional notifications, such as trip reminders, packing reminders, timing cues, and important account or service messages.
  • Process and manage subscriptions and paid access.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the app.
  • Understand how users interact with Passenger so we can improve performance, design, and features.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your use of the app.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. How We Share Data

We do not sell personal data. We share data only in limited situations, including:

  • Service providers: We use trusted vendors to help us run the app, including authentication, database hosting, notifications, analytics, crash reporting, cloud functions, and subscription management.
  • Legal or safety reasons: We may disclose information if required by law or if reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Business transfers: If Passenger or Noet AI is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

Passenger does not currently include public profiles, community features, or social sharing inside the app.

4. Third Parties We Use

Depending on the version of the app and services enabled, we may use third-party providers such as:

  • Apple Sign In
  • Firebase Authentication
  • Firestore and Cloud Functions
  • Push notification services
  • PostHog or similar analytics tools
  • Sentry or similar tools
  • RevenueCat

These providers may process personal data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy practices, and only to the extent needed to provide their services to us.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Passenger, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

  • Account and trip data are generally kept while your account is active.
  • If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or backup purposes.
  • Backups and system logs may remain for a limited period before they are deleted or overwritten.

Account deletion is intended to be irreversible.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request a copy of certain data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can also make choices in the app or on your device, including:

  • Turning push notifications on or off in your device settings.
  • Managing Sign in with Apple settings through your Apple account.
  • Requesting account deletion by contacting [email protected].

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

Passenger is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children where prohibited by law. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact [email protected].

9. International Transfers

Passenger is based in England, United Kingdom, but some of our service providers may process data in other countries. When personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place where required by applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may also provide notice in the app or by other appropriate means.
